When returning a product (see the returns section for more info) an inspection will be made on the returned items. When your case has been approved a refund will be made to the same bank account that was used for the initial order, no later than 14 days after the request of the refund.

You are entitled for a refund in the following cases:

1. You returned the products within 30 days after receiving them, unused and in the original packaging*

2. Your item falls under the warrantee protection

3. You received the wrong items and request a refund**

1. Your order number

2. The items you wish to return. Additional information and/or pictures to help us solve your case as fast as possible

At Nordic Paradise we try to keep a good and competitive price for all our products, with a fast delivery service. Due to the nature of our products, we cannot resell a returned item once it has been used or tested. To limit the waste of materials and to keep our prices attractive we do not offer standard free returns. If you wish to return a product we can provide a prepaid return note at a limited fee of €8.99 that covers part of the return cost that we need to cover. This amount will be deducted from the amount that needs to be refunded for the items that you returned.

In case that a product you ordered falls under the warrantee protection or a wrong product has been delivered, the return will be free of charge.

As a customer in the EU you have the legal right to return the products you ordered up to 14 days after receiving them. At Nordic Paradise we extend your time to return your order up to 30 days after placing the order. This gives you all the time to inspect and test the products before making the decision.

If you want to test a product in order to decide if you want to keep it, you can do this by putting a cover over the product to keep it clean and to test it for a short period.  In order to get a full refund it is important to return the products unused and in the original packaging. Products that have been used for multiple nights are not considered as “tested” but as used. Due to the nature of the product and because of hygienic reasons, we can only except returns of products that are in a good/new condition and that have not been used for a longer period (for example a whole week).

Luckily, most of our customers are very satisfied about our products and we have few return request.

When you store your duvet or pillow it is important to place it in a dry environment and use a breathable textile bag. Prevent to use closed plastic bags. Down needs to breathe to stay fresh and comfortable for the next time you want to use it again.

Yes, you can machine wash and dry your duvet and pillow. However, it is recommended to do this not more than every 2 to 3 years. Down has the special characteristic to keep itself clean and doesn’t need to be washed as often as a synthetic comforter. Washing too often can also damage the structure of the down clusters and reduce the volume and insulation power of your duvet.

Drying your duvet or pillow is the most important part of making sure you have a clean and fresh product at the end. After washing a pillow or comforter the filling will be more compact and wet. In order to be able to use it again it must be properly dried, preferably in a tumble-dryer.

Put your comforter in the tumble-dryer with two or three tennis balls wrapped in a white pocket or sock. Set the dryer to “Tumble” or “Air dry” at a moderate temperature. To completely dry multiple cycles will be required. Between every cycle, get the comforter out of the tumble-dryer and shake your comforter to open up any pockets of wet down so it can dry better. After multiple cycles in the tumble-dryer, put the comforter open to rest in the air so the remaining humidity can get out. Make sure your comforter or pillow is completely dry before you use it again. The complete drying process of natural down and feather comforter can take up to 6 or 8 hours.

A down duvet or pillow does not need a lot of maintenance. Due to the tightly woven cotton textile and the natural characteristics of down, a down duvet does not need to be washed very often.

To keep your duvet voluminous and fresh shake and air your duvet on a regular basis.
